Elizabeth, the dogs, and I spent the 4th at my parents'. They live on a lake in the western mountains of Maine. We only went into town to watch the fireworks on the night of the 4th (spectacular as always!) and spent the rest of our weekend on the beach and in the water. It was a weekend of firsts: Elizabeth's first fireworks (she loved it); Duncan's first swim in the lake (he loved it); and my first long drive in the minivan (I loved it)! Enjoy the photos!
