Is it summertime yet?

To remind us that summer is really just around the corner: a photo from the summer of 2006, taken in Chatham, Massachusetts, where we spent a wonderful weekend catching up with A and her family...Check out that beautiful Buddha belly!

LID: (log-in-date, date that the CCAA entered my dossier into their queue) 12/18/06

DOR: (date of referral, date on which I rec'd Baby's records to review) 8/7/08

LOI: (Letter of Intent, date on which I submitted my formal intent to adopt Baby) 8/11/08

PA: (Pre-Approval, date which CCAA acknowledges my intent to adopt Baby) 8/26/08

LOA: (Letter of Acceptance or Letter of Approval, also known as Letter Seeking Confirmation from Adopter, stating that the CCAA formally accepts my petition to adopt Baby, which I must sign and return to the CCAA) 9/8/08

TA: (Travel Approval, date which signifies the CCAA's approval for me to make plans to come to China) 10/17/08

CA: (Consulate Appointment, date on which Baby receives his visa to travel to the U.S.) 11/20/08
