On Monday, Elizabeth formally graduated from pre-school. Miss Kelly held a special graduation ceremony just for Elizabeth, because I only decided to enroll Elizabeth in kindergarten over the summer. I think I've discussed this in other posts...Elizabeth misses the cut-off to begin kindergarten by eleven days. I requested a waiver for her to attend kindergarten at our local public elementary school, but the principal refused to grant it. I knew that she couldn't do another year in pre-school--she's so ready for school!--so I contacted our local parochial school, who was happy to accept her. Hooray! She's growing up so quickly (sniff! sniff!).
