| there's our girl! |
Elizabeth and her Daisy troop marched in the Memorial Day parade--Nanny, Papa, Jack and I proudly watched her march past us and then followed her to the end of the parade route, where there was a short ceremony at the cemetary to mark the occasion. The girls carried small American flags during the parade and before the ceremony began placed them on veterans' graves (Papa helped Elizabeth with hers). I thought that was a wonderful way for the girls to recognize the sacrifices made by them for all of us.
