Jack, Elizabeth, and I attended her cheering banquet this evening at Westcustogo Hall. She received a trophy--Mommy was so proud! (Jack's friend, Paisley, was there, too, so he was really happy to have a friend to play with. He ended up getting a splinter in his pinkie and got a bit tearful towards the end of the evening). We stopped at Miss Kelly's to finish Elizabeth's powder puff derby car (more on that tomorrow!), and while we were there Miss Kelly tried to get Jack's splinter out--no such luck. Poor little guy! He cried big tears. We decided to try again in the morning...
