Elizabeth's Brownie troop participated in the Powder Puff Derby at her elementary school this afternoon. The Powder Puff Derby is to the Girl Scouts what the Pinewood Derby is to the Boy Scouts. I, of course, have no woodworking skills whatsoever, so just like last year we asked our wonderful friend, Dennis, to help Elizabeth build her derby car again this year. He and Elizabeth did a super job--her car came in 11th overall and 9th amongst all Brownies (I need to check that to be sure, and I will update with photos of them building the car). She was all smiles--she had quite a cheering section because Nanny and Papa were there, too!
