Poor Jack: while waiting for jie jie to finish dance, he decided to play near the doors leading outside and, when a little girl leaving the building pushed the door open, she hit him smack! right in the forehead. Oh, the tears! and the blood! I scooped him up in my arms and rushed him into a back room to clean him up. He looked rather rakish with his bandaid, I must say, and was quite proud of the Harry Potter cut he sported on his forehead for the rest of the week. He recovered nicely by the time we went to the playground and the pee wee football game at which Elizabeth was cheering.
